Clearsnap Color Challenge #1

Don't you just love getting in on the ground floor of something new? When my bloggy pal Mary Dawn announced the new Clearsnap Color Challenges, I knew I had to play. Why? Just look at these colors:

Okay, I don't have the Clearsnap exact colors, but I declared these to be mighty close to SU's Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and Not Quite Navy. I did! And this is what I just made (in like 5.25 minutes):

That's the new My Friend stamp set from SU, available starting July 1st. I knew I wanted to use that fun fits-in-the-corner stamp, and I opted to stamp it in Crumb Cake and just make a few of the flowers red. I wasn't even going to layer the Vanilla - just put it onto the Crumb Cake base, but the blue sentiment needed some grounding, so I caved and added the blue layer. And I rounded only the top corner, because I felt the sentiment needed it.

I kinda like how this came out. I may even use it for one of my July Stamp Camp cards.

Thanks for stopping by!
