OWH Memorial Weekend Blog Hop

http://operationwritehome.org/starsandstamps

Welcome! This weekend the fine folks over at OWH have organized a Memorial Weekend blog hop, and I chose to make an Any Hero card. Most of the cards I make are for the service men and women to send home to friends and family. Any Hero cards are intended for the service men and women themselves, and are included in the boxes of cards sent to them. It's a nice way to thank them for their service and sacrifice for our country.

For today's card I used OWH Sketch #62:

and here's my card based on that sketch:

I took a few liberties with the sketch, like putting the photo frame on a slight angle (the better to see more of those stars!), and I put the heart element on the right for a little more balance, but the sketch is still there.

For this hop there are no "if you came from" or "here's where you go next" links, because it's all based on the Inlinkz at the main OWH post, but there are prizes for hoppers, so please leave a comment for a chance to win, then head back here.

And thanks for stopping by!

Products used but not linked below: SU DSP, misc red card stock, Star border die (mystery - maybe Taylored Epressions?).
