SOS #101 - Scrap Attack

Happy Tuesday! It's time for another Shopping Our Stash challenge. This week we ask you to use all scraps. That's right: scraps. Except for the card base (which can be a scrap if you can pull it off) there can be no cutting into virgin paper or card stock. GOT THAT?!

So I stumbled upon a partially used Taylored Expressions kit I first used waaaay back for SOS challenge #7. Apparently I hadn't put it away. Ever.

I was good and only used already-cut-into papers and card stock and I made this:

I put three strips of paper on top of a piece of teal textured card stock, embossed the sentiment* from my new Avery Elle stamp set, added a piece of twine and a wood veneer plane - done. I may even go back in and make a few more, just to see if I can use up that kit and not have to put it away. Could happen.

Now it's YOUR turn. Go into your scrap pile and pull out some coordinating lovelies to make a card, then come back to Shopping Our Stash and link us up so we can see what you've made!

Thanks for stopping by!

* The sentiment is actually one long one, but I cut it. I did, right out of the package. I'm getting so bold. :)

Products used but not linked below: Taylored Expressions kit, Core'dinations Kraft card stock, SU Winter White EP.

  1. You do such pretty things with scraps - I love this color combination. That Avery Elle set is on my wish list, too.
