It's Week 1, Day 4 of the current Online Card Class: Summer Card Camp 2, also known as SCC2, and time for more homework. Today's challenge was to make a card in under 10 minutes using the week's colors and one of the sketches. I DID IT! I squeaked through with 45 seconds left on my timer. Whoot.
Oh, wanna see the card? Here you go:
Why, why why do I keep making white cards when I've proven again and again I cannot photograph them?!??!?! |
I did follow the directions and planned things out ahead of time, but I didn't die-cut anything as part of my effort. Instead I used things from the UFO pile, including the leaf column die-cuts from the other day. I am amazed at the detail that went into the sample cards in class, including embossing and die-cutting, considering it took me 9 min and 15 sec to make this without any of those steps. Yikes!
Here's the detail of the sentiment since I still cannot take a decent photo:
I broke out my Delicata gold ink I was enabled to need a while ago. It's delicious.
Oh, and my blue element? Would you believe I colored the stems blue, then
Wow, I'm 4 for 4 so far. Let's see if I can keep it up!
Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDelete10 minute challenges make me twitchy, so I admire people who can meet the challenge. Well done!
