Today I bring you another card from my stampy weekend:
When I was packing my irreverence collection to take with me, I found this stamp loose and running amok. Now that I look at the card, I have a better lady to pair with the sentiment, so you'll see that as soon as I get to it.
I am so in love with pretty papers. My collection of 6x6 paper packs has served me well. It's so easy to pull out a few patterns knowing they will work together. And see that paper between the white layer and the base? It's one that has all the right colors, but I'd never use it by itself, so it's perfect to use peeking out to add just the spot of color I needed to offset the layers. Done!
I have two more irreverent cards from the weekend, which I'll use to shamelessly fill in the rest of this week, so come on back, now, ya hear? :)
Thanks for stopping by!
Products used: sentiment from Viva Las Vegas Stamps, Gossip Girls from Stampers Anonymous, Spellbinders Petite ovals (I can't find them anywhere online, sorry), and the following:
Hee hee - love it!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! That is all!
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeleteLol, literally!
ReplyDeleteif you ever hear a chuckling noise in your stamp room late at night, don't worry, it'll just be me... rifling thru your "irreverence collection" and planning my bid for world snarky card domination. please to lay on a supply of beef jerky and diet cola for when i get there, k??!?!?!?! :) :) :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteIf I could use this sentiment with OWH, it's the only one I'd use... *covets*
ReplyDeleteCute! Love the sentiment, and that's a good idea to use the other sheet as a layer with just the edges showing. I have a lot of those that I would never use otherwise.
ReplyDeleteFor the record, I'm the good bitch today. Or maybe not. I did just suggest a game of axe murder tag with my coworkers.
ReplyDeleteI love pretty papers too. I want them all. I'm finding I'm more in love with 6x6 pads than 12x12 these days because of the smaller patterns. Now I need to let myself use then instead of hoard them. I have the ones you've used here. I've barely touched the pad though because I don't want to use it up all gone bye-bye.
