Smooches

I was still in OWH mode the other day, trying to make some 6x6 paper pads disappear, but I failed. I liked the first card just fine (I try to make one to test my idea before I cut up too much paper), but, well ...

Here's the card:

I really like it! I REALLY like that I used three brads. (Only 74,635 left to go.) I did my usual 4x5.25 white layer, so when I added dimensional foam to the back, the backs of the brads were just suspended in the space and not a problem on the inside of the card.

But *I* had a problem. You see, I decided I loved these papers too much to hack them up, even for a good cause. My hoarding genes kicked in and I needed to put the papers away. Sigh.

Now I need to find another paper pack I love less than this one and get back on track. Gotta fill that box for OWH and ship it out!

Oh, I followed the current Friday Mash-up sketch:

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Looks good! I might try that sketch, too. And great job using up those brads! I donated mine.

  8. Only 74,635 left to go... *sigh* isn't that the truth. I never seem to have the right color. I was told you can heat emboss them but that means you have to have the right color powder and you can get burnt that way.

Anyway, how brilliant of you to make sure a card design works before chopping up the entire pad of paper. If only the rest of us could be that smart (and by the rest of us I mean me).

    Great CAS card.
