The LAST VSN Challenge Card - It's Christmas In June!

The final VSN challenge this weekend was Christmas In June, and I took the opportunity to use the Jingle Belles challenge prompt of Red & Green as my guide so I could get my card done before the last day for once. I know, I know, the Belles give us like 12 days to do the challenge and I'm usually working on it the last day. NOT THIS TIME! May I present ...

I followed last week's (read: now expired) Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge:

which made this sooooo easy. Let's see: three rectangles, paper colors in red & green. Yeah, I've got this. I used my Lawn Fawn Peace, Joy, Love 6x6 paper pack, and had to sit on my hands not to use any of the lovely blue papers. I did let some blue sneak in on the horizontal strip, but that's okay. I usually try very hard to not use red & green for Christmas. I'm a rebel like that.

I took the opportunity to dig in my box of Christmas embellishments and found my package of Little B poinsettia stickers. I knew one would be perfect for the flower sketch element.

So that's it. All the VSN challenges are done - wow, 12 cards! And I've managed to sneak in the Jingle Belles challenge card, too. It's been a banner weekend! *kicks dust bunnies back under the table*

Thanks for stopping by!

Stuff I used: Little B poinsettia stickers that I got who-knows-where, and the following:

  1. Look at you kickin' card-making butt and taking names ... way to go ... I spent the weekend unpacking rather than making cards ... soon, very soon, I keep telling myself ... so very glad you joined us at jingle belles.
