I thought it would be fun to use the lighter grey plus the two blues in a sortof ombre thing. For my design, I chose to CASE the inspiration card from the current (and sadly last) The Cutting Edge challenge:
What a perfect excuse to break out my Lil' Inker On The Diagonal die that I've never used.
For my sentiment, I opted to loosely follow the current Clean & Simple challenge:
If you roll all that together, this is what comes out:
When I stamped the 'birthday' word, I managed to schmear ink onto the bottom blue panel, so it was time to embellish! I broke out my Avery Elle Finished Frames dies and used the stars to cut some grey (maybe Smoke? I wasn't paying attention) card stock. I also added a few silver star sequins.
I think it's still pretty CAS, and I'm happy with how it turned out.
