Oh, Christmas Sketch

Yes, I said Christmas. I'm playing the current Jingle Belles Rock challenge, which is a sketch:

I combined it with the Just Add Ink challenge, which is Blue and Bling, and I made this:

I used a forgotten pack of My Mind's Eye Signature Christmas papers, and pulled out some mostly blue ones. The poinsettia stamps and dies are from Taylored Expressions. Ink is SU Buckeroo Blue (retired).  Misc blue and clear bling. I used a glitter pen that I thought was clear but may be silver to color the center and lines on the petals. Card base is SU Naturals White. It's the perfect not-white-white-but-not-cream for these papers.

As a bonus, I decided to put dimensional adhesive between each of the petal layers, just to ensure this will require additional postage to mail.

I think that's it for tonight. I'll go back in for more challenges tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by!

  9. holy ♥WOW♥ that is sooooooooo fabulous! i think i might have gasped a tiny bit... that layered poinsettia is astonishingly lovely; the blue palette is particularly great owing to that GREAT shade of (retired, of COURSE, lol!) ink and the PERFECT paper choice; and the bling adds such a wonderful finishing touch! ♥♥♥

ps: is there a "dibs" list for december??? just asking... :)
