Here is my second entry for the current Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers challenge:
The challenge is P is for Profanity:
and while I don't like swearing, I do like this sentiment:
I also like that I can make that lady say anything I want her to. Stamping gives us POWER!
I followed the current MFT sketch:
I did not use an MFT stamp, but I used an MFT die for the sentiment. I also took liberty with the sentiment placement, but it was in the spirit of the sketch.
So, does anyone still use those pink foam curlers in their hair? Inquiring minds want to know.
Thanks for stopping by!
Stuff I used: lady from Eat Cake Graphics, sentiment from Viva Las Vegas Stamps, and the following:
Love it! I am a bit drawn to snark. And those pink curlers...yes I do. Its odd but at 53 I still have hair down my back almost to my hips. I thought I would cut it at 40, then 50, now as long as Ms. Clairol works I am keeping it. It is very straight fine hair, and the only way to keep curls in for more than 20 minutes - is sleeping on those pink foamy things, so on occasion I still do.
ReplyDeleteAnd this lady looks like she'd say about anything! Love it!
ReplyDeleteHa Ha Ha, great card and snark. thanks for playing along with us at SoSS for the P is for Profanity challenge..
ReplyDeleteOh, how I love the snark. Cute card...and I can certainly identify with the sentiment.
ReplyDeleteAnother VLVS stamp to add to my wishlist! I love this card, too. Thanks for the double entry at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!
ReplyDeleteHA!!! i love this one! and yes the "modular" aspect of both the lady AND the sentiment... i can imagine soooooo many ways to use both of those! altho, it must be said, none of the ways i can imagine are nearly as AWESOME as this particular card, which rocks on it's own AND as a fab take on the snarks challenge!!! :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteYou have the best snarky stamps! Another fantabulous card, Leslie! Thanks again for playing along in the Profanity challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!
ReplyDeleteI need that stamp, I always say that. LOL
ReplyDeleteAdore the card and love the sentiment!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining the sisterhood for our P is for Profanity challenge missus!

Is that Edna's trashy cousin? She is great with that sentiment. Thanks for doubling down with us at SoSS!

ReplyDeleteLove it! She doesn't look like a people person. Strangely, other than the curlers, she looks like me. As to the curlers, I haven't worn them since I was a kid. They sure were easier to sleep on than the old pink plastic ones. Thanks for making a second card for the P is for Profanity challenge as SoSS!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I missed this challenge. These cards are a scream. And no, I'd never mistake you for a people person.
