First, I am pleased to announce that all your "use the Macro setting" comments made it through to my brain and I think I did a little better tonight with my photos. What do you think:
I also learned that (1) the camera has no view-finder ;-( which I think is part of my problem when trying to hold the camera steady, and (2) with this many pixels, I need to shrink my photo before I add my watermark, or the watermark gets really, really small.
Next, do you remember my comment that I think cupcakes and owls are the new pears? I used to have a collection of pear stamps because they were everywhere. Now all you see are cupcakes and owls. I have decided not to buy into either one of these fads; however, I had to buy this the other day:
Isn't it crazy cute?! It is from Hero Arts. I stamped it on Very Vanilla and colored every other row of feathers with my Copics, then layered it on the same stuff I used for the first card. Now all I need to do is decide which one of these to use for the third (remaining) card base!
Since I was on a roll, using something new plus something from my stash, I decided to channel June and made this:

That's all for this evening! Thanks for stopping by!
That's much better. I found it hard to adjust to viewing the photo through the screen and not having a viewfinder too! Love the owl...and the cows are too cute...you're on a roll with using up your scraps....if only I could be that inspired :)
ReplyDeletewhen updating our camera i specificially bought another cybershot b/c it HAS a viewfinder...i don't care what anyone says...in BRIGHT SUN i *cannot* see the screen. so there.
ReplyDeletei absolutely ♥LOOOOOOOOOVE♥ all three of these cards, and i was thinking, as i read your process, "i wonder if she got these habits from june or vice versa?" and now i know! :)
(ps: you are an AWESOME color-er!!!)
Love the cows! Also, nice use of your ribbon stash!
