Acrylic Resist Birthday

Instead of hunkering down and doing my Creative Chemistry 101 homework, I got distracted by the Acrylic Resist tutorial over on Splitcoast and decided I needed to give it a try. Here's what came out:

I opened and used my Adirondack Pearl acrylic paint dauber to ink the flourish from my SU Baroque Motifs set. I stamped it on Very Vanilla, then heat set it to dry.  I sponged over it with a few Distress Inks, stamped a few flowers from a HA set in Antique Linen, then sponged the edge of the die-cut piece with Antique Linen, too. Some Crumb Cake seam binding, a HA sentiment, a miscellaneous button, and done!

Okay, NOW I'm going to do some homework. Or maybe make a cherry blossom card. I guess I'll find out when I get going, huh? :)

Thanks for stopping by!
