The current challenge at A Blog Named Hero is to use the colors of their logo as your inspiration for a card or project:
As I stood at my craft desk* I spied some remnants from last night's card, and declared them "close enough" and "in the spirit of the challenge", so I used them to make this:
Yes, it's a fairly literal interpretation of the logo, ain't it? But I like it, so there it is. :) The white hearts are flat on the card base, and the colored hearts are popped up on dimensionals. Before I trimmed the twine, it looked like the hearts were crying, which
went well with the "miss you" sentiment, so when I trimmed them, I left
them kinda long.
Okay, I'm going back in for more. Thanks for stopping by!
Recipe:
Stamps: Paper Smooches (sorry, no HA today)
Paper: SU Poppy Parade, Tempting Turquoise, Kraft, Green Galore (I think), and misc white
Ink: Memento black
Other: Orange twine from The Twinery, blue and green twine from Divine Twine, Heart Shapabilities, SU dimensionals and mini glue dots
*I have a standing desk -- actually, a drafting table. I sit all day long at work, and in the car commuting, so I don't like to sit at home, too.
Love this card. You do CAS so beautifully... *smile*
