I decided to play the current Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers challenge to use glitter:
I don't us a lot of glitter, because OWH requires a fairly glitter-free zone, but I got a little creative and I made this:
Recognize that paper? Mmm-hmmm. Can you see the glitter? It's a thin strip behind the sentiment. And that sketch? The SoSS gals took a field trip to Just Us Girls and played their sketch challenge (now expired, of course):
so I played, too, by combining the challenges. I took some liberties with the brad placement and the sentiment, but you can still see the sketch in my card (I hope).
And I broke out new snark: My Studio L2E Sucky Day Part 1 1/2. I love when I make a card that just begs for snark.
I've been playing around in the craft room, so I should have more to share later. Thanks for stopping by!
Stuff I used: Studio L2E Sucky Day Part 1 1/2, glitter paper from Mike's, MAMBI card stock, misc brads, misc wood veneer asterisk, and the following:
Perfect use of subtle (no mess!) glitter and subtle snark. I came very close to doing the rounded-corner square thingies on my interpretation of the sketch, too. And I skipped the brads all together, so good on you! Thanks for joining the Fun at the Snarky Sisterhood!
ReplyDeleteSecret hidden glitter is the best kind of glitter IMO

ReplyDeleteYou are following little ol' usses around the internet! That's so stalky of you! Great take on the sketch and the sentiment is great! And you are smart using as little glitter as possible. Thanks for playing with the Snarky Sisterhood!
ReplyDeleteEntering the JUG's challenge just like us...are you stalking us? :) Love the no-mess glitter paper...the perfect way to handle glitter. Thanks for joining us at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!
