I've been playing a few challenges today, and some of them are even sorta blog-worthy. We won't talk about the pretty trash.
For my first challenge combination, I used the Dahlhouse Designs Wanna Sketch challenge:
and combined it with the current Nacho Average Challenge color challenge:
to make this:
I did the sketch landscape instead of portrait, and I ... well ... I was cutting up my printed sheets of challenges and I dropped the sketch, and it ... disappeared. So I worked from memory, which is shaky, at best.
I'm calling the illegal (not in the color list) red and yellow lines in the patterned paper the dividing line for that top element of the sketch. No one said they need to be different papers, right?
I did my best to get the colors right and used them on the socks:
Because I'm inept at coloring, I used a little trick to hide the bad Copic coloring job: I used a tiny piece of paper towel with some Copic Blender Refill on it and dabbed the colored sock to give it a little texture. This removed enough of the bad coloring to make it look like I meant to do that.
I did another card for this color combination - I'll post that later.
Thanks for stopping by!
Stuff I used: paper towel, Unity Itty Bitty Matching Socks stamps, and the following:
Cute! Nice texture on the sock, too.

ReplyDeleteOhhh I love that sentiment. So glad hubs buys only one type of socks...all go in the drawer...unmatched! Such a fun card, Leslie.
