This card is the product of another effort to make something that didn't work out like I'd planned. So I changed direction and made it work anyway. As an added bonus, I opened and used a stamp set I HAD TO OWN, even though I knew it was a fussy, needs-to-be-colored set, so there's that.
Here's my card:
At a stampy retreat I attended back in April (yes, I have coveted this set for that long), my pals Mary Dawn and Lisa dubbed this the autopsied bunneh set, and MD even blogged the card they made. Now every time I see the set, I think "autopsy". This is a fun hobby, huh? :)
So I stamped the bunnies in Memento London Fog and colored them with a Copic. Just one. I told you I'm terrible at this coloring thing, but I did at least manage to stay inside the lines.
The tail was almost a boo-boo. I colored it in with my white souffle pen before I thought to use flock instead, because bunny tails are white and fluffy, not white and shiny. I QUICK grabbed the white flock and dumped it onto the still-wet souffle ink, and it stuck. Whoot. Saved.
I'm not all that happy with my choice of washi tape. I was looking for a grey with a pop of color, and I have nothing. NOTHING. How can it be I have so many rolls of washi tape and not one of them is the one I need? I have boxes of every color ribbon that are just like that, too. I think it's a conspiracy to make us need to buy more.
Anyway, that's one more card for the OWH box. I hope to get that filled and out the door soon. I could reclaim my Dining Room table, or at least a corner of it.
Thanks for stopping by!
Stuff I used: SU white flock, washi tape, and the following:
I like the pop of color that washi adds to the bunnies!
