SOS BONUS Challenge with the Jingle Belles - Redux

We're just past the half-way point in our Shopping Our Stash BONUS challenge collaboration with the Jingle Belles. You have until Wednesday, July 16th, at 6:00 pm EDT to link up your project on BOTH blogs for a chance to not only win some goodies, but to be one card closer to DONE with your holiday cards, which is the main goal of the Belles. At SOS we just want you to use your STUFF!

The challenge is to make a holiday or winter card with something from your stash that is at least a year old. Not a problem. This week my card is on the SOS blog, and here she is:

This is about as minimalist as I get, and I'm pretty sure it's making Lauren itch.

My image and sentiment are both old, old A*Muse wood stamps. The staircase is quite small, and required minimal coloring, which made me happy. My Memory Box Yuletide papers were still out from making my last Jingle Belles card, so I used them for the green square and then I put the pack away.

There was so. much. white. on the card front that I attempted to break it up by scoring lines 1/4" in on each side. You can almost even see them in this photo. I really need to work on that. Sigh.

Please make sure to stop by today's SOS post and also the Jingle Belles post to see some more inspiration!

So, have you played the SOS Bonus challenge yet? I think you should!

Thanks for stopping by!

Stuff I used: A*Muse Staircase and Warm Winter Wishes stamps, and the following:

I can see the lines! I even saw them before you pointed them out, so SCORE! (bwahahahaha omg the flu has eaten my brain...)
I love the little mouse hole in the bottom of the stairs :)

  4. I had to go back and look at your card after reading what Jessi said about the mouse hole - She's so observant, even in the throws of the evil flu! Gotta say, this is one heck of a fabulous CAS card! I also saw the score lines before you made note of them!

  5. Very minimalistic! I like it though. Now you need the A Muse mouse in a Santa hat on the inside of the card.

Mysterious wet stuff is falling from the sky. Hmmmm... We had an earthquake (felt one) earlier this month and now this. Must be end times.
