The laptop liiiives! My emergency-send-it-NOW replacement power cord arrived today (I over-nighted it - I am worth it) and I can finally reconnect with the Interwebz. So what did I do last night while incommunicado? I inventoried my remaining retired SU stamps sets and posted a pathetically whiny BUY MY STUFF blog entry, and then I STAMPED!
My goal last night was to make a card with the sentiment "Purrs make the world go 'round", and this is what came out:
I love it!
Then I also made this one BECAUSE I got my package of stamps I bought from Nikoart on etsy, and this Cheshire Cat was one of the stamps. She has some really cute stuff, so I am going to keep an eye on her. ;-)
And just to show you I did something tonight (besides re-connect with my laptop), lookie:
Boo treats! Technically, I stamped those Boo images a while back, and I had a bunch left over, just waiting to be used. Tonight I punched several black scallop circles and made these!
Here's what the backs look like, except for the one I taped ON the orange, so its up-side is green. This was a piece of orange paper just left out on my work space, so I used it!
Here's what they sandwich. Yep! York Peppermint Patties! Last year I made ornaments with these, but this year I might just try and sell these at this time of year. I do not have many kids in my neighborhood, or not enough to justify opening the door, so I am a Bah Humbug Halloween grouch who sits with the lights OFF. So giving these out to the kiddies is not really an option. I might try and think up a Thanksgiving theme for them, though. Hmmm ...
Well, I think I'll try to catch up with my blog reading tonight. Thanks for stopping by!
Awwwww....Pea think those BooPatties are adorable!
ReplyDeleteAwesome work!!
ReplyDeleteThose are really cute with the extra layers of orange and green. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI love the kitty cards! Your stuff is always so cute!
ReplyDeletefabbilus kitteh cards! ceiling cat graciously acknowledges your effort and shall not shred your couch. (today.)
ReplyDeletelooooooooooove those ghostie treat-ie things! they would be excellent for bribing co-workers to do your bidding, dontcha think? or...you could surprise neighbors by hanging them in a little bag on their doorknobs? (i stole this from the nieces' neighborhood where they are having halloween present "tag" to leave a present, ring the doorbell, and run away! :) (hey why should 6 year olds have ALL the fun, i say!?) :)
