Color Throwdown # 102, and an Update

When I saw this week's Color Throwdown:


I saw "boy", I thought of my new My Favorite Things "Wyatt" stamp set, and I made this:

Okay, I cheated a little at the end when I added that patterned paper, but I started out with the right colors, so that should count for SOMETHING! It was also going to be a birthday card, but then there was that whole "no room" thing, plus the sentiments in this set are stinkin' cute, so I went with the "You're Super" option.

I thought it still needed something (not ribbon!), and when I went in search of some star brads, I found these stick-on gold stars, and used them instead. I have a few more images stamped and no more big gold stars, so I still need to find my star brads ...

Before I made that card, I finished all 12 of the digital image cards I played with earlier this week. On this one I'd rescaled the screaming lady and I like this size much better:

I also printed another sentiment, which I used here with the original larger-sized image:

All those cards are bagged and tagged and ready for sale. Yay!

In other news, tomorrow's weather forecast is "oppressive". Yes, the weather man meteorologist said that word for Friday, and Saturday is supposed to be even worse, with increased humidity AND temps pushing 100, giving a heat index of 105-107. Oh, yeah, the market should be soooo nice. I need to make more coffee ice tomorrow night. My towels are already frozen and ready. I should get more D batteries to ensure my fan won't die. Sigh ...
