Wow, two weeks of Mojo sketches in a row! I am on a roll, man!
This week's sketch is Mojo 150:
and here is my card:
Actually, I think I got it pretty close! When I walked into the Captain's Quarters and pondered this sketch, I decided I was going to use ALL NEW STUFF, and I did! The papers are from one of my 6x6 Basic Grey paper pads - Kioshi, and the stamped bird is from a Hero Arts set I bought in an "OMG more cute birds" moment.
I didn't intend to pick the three busiest papers in the pack, and actually, I didn't, but maybe there is too much going on here. Whatever, it's green and it's done.
You know how famous stampy people do a close-up of their creations to show you the magnificence of it all? Not me. Nope. My close-up is to show you I had two - not one, but two - SYFY moments on ONE CARD! BONUS! Let's have a look:
First, I cut the bottom layer too short, and since I only had two pieces of this paper, and both were cut too short (I know, measure twice, cut once ... shaddup), I opted to scallop a scrap remnant that went in the right direction and just make it look like I meant to do that.
Second, I amputated one of the bird's legs (the right one) and the only way to save him was to glue all the tail and leg parts to the card. I had intended for them to be free and floppy, but in the end, I think glued down was the better option anyway.
That's it, peeps (heh heh). That's all I have in me for tonight. Thanks for stopping by!
The little birdie is adorable, and I can never get over how good you are with these cards. I like this one a lot!

I love the OMG CUTE BIRD! I am a sucker for cute birds. I don't think the paper is too busy...I feel it all flows well together.
