Tonight I went in search of a sketch, and I found Mojo Monday 200! TWO HUNDRED! WHOOT! I've been a lurker and occasional player since Little Mojo was just a pup!
So here is this week's sketch:
and here is my card:
I wanted an image that would work for that ... um, thing I did with masking the edges of the card stock to make an inner frame, and The Open Sea set fit that bill. Plus, it has a nice round image for the round element of the sketch. :)
All the paper is from the Nautical Expedition DSP pack. Ink colors are Cherry Cobbler, Not Quite Navy and Crumb Cake. Ribbon is the new SU NQN taffeta. (yum!) I distressed the edges of the square largely to disguise the fact that it came out of my paper trimmer not much different than that, so I needed to make it look like I meant to do that. ;/
I'll do another post with details on how I did that masking thing. It's crazy-easy.
Thanks for stopping by!
Great interpretation of the sketch. Love your card

ReplyDeletePerfect card for Mojo200. Masking is way beyond me, I don't have the patience.
ReplyDeleteI entered Mojo200 as well (my entry is #233 - "You and Me"). I hope we both win :-)
