Sketchy 3-Fer

Today I was trolling the challenge blogs in my Google Reader, looking for something to jump out at me, when I saw this one at CPS-Card Sketches:

Doesn't this scream SCRAPS!? It also screams WASHI TAPE! I couldn't decide what to do, so I made three!

First, the obvious, and the one with the lowest sweat factor:

I mean, c'mon, this was too easy. So I challenged myself to break out some MFT chevron dies (never used) to make this one from paper scraps:

This one was a little more work, mostly because I applied glue to the wrong side of a chevron and had to re-cut it. ;/

For my third card, I did a combination of the two and die-cut washi tape:

I stuck the tape to a piece of white and cut it. What I didn't know was the tiniest die just cuts a wavy edge, not actually a skinny chevron, which explains the edge on the pink and orange strips.

Here are the three dies I used:

I need to play with these more - they are a lot of fun!

Okay, laundry calls and I need lunch. I have another challenge on deck, so I'll be back later.

Thanks for stopping by!
