It's time for another challenge over at Shopping Our Stash! This week we ask you to make a girly card, or something for Mother's Day.
Girly. Meh. Well, it is a challenge, right? This time I did not go for my Webster's Pages papers. Nope. This time I broke open my new-to-me Basic Grey What's Up papers, because they perfectly matched some of my new stash of Washi tape.
What? I'm not supposed to be collecting? Well, at least I'm using it, so there's that ... ahem.
The tape I used this time was this stack:
I went looking for a sketch that would let me use all three of the tapes, and I found the Hero Arts April Sketches:
I chose the one on the bottom right. Wait, April sketches? Sigh, missed it again.
Anyway, here's my card based on the sketch:
With such a great sketch, and the idea to use three strips of tape, this was like a 5 minute card. Seriously. I'm even okay with the white space -- it doesn't need a thing! Oh, sentiment by A Muse Studio, from the Essential Sentiments set.
Now it's your turn! Go into your stash, find something girly or frilly or something you just know your Mom (or any Mom) would like, make a card, then come over to Shopping Our Stash and link us so we can see what you've made!
Thanks for stopping by!
I love it! Really like that tape and the way you framed out the heart in the DP. So very pretty!!!
