SOS #213: Show Us Your Snark

It's Tuesday, and time for a new challenge at Shopping Our Stash. This week's theme is Show Us Your Snark, and we'd like you to pull out your irreverent stamps. Push that envelope a little.

I happen to have a vast collection of snark. Hey, it's what I do. The other day while cleaning looking for something in the craft room, I found an old old old old stamp set I thought I'd use, but I got distracted and made two different cards instead.

Two? Why yes, two! Several of our DT gals are also on the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers DT, so when this challenge appeared in the list, well, a collaboration was necessary.

I'm putting both cards in this post, but one is linked from the SoSS blog. You'll still end up here - it's all good.

Here are my contributions for the Snark challenge:

I know I've been doing a lot of CAS lately, but when you have a sassy lady and a sentiment, you just need a background for them. I opted to use a few sheets of Chickaniddy Scrumptious papers. And it is scrumptious. Love that striped piece. I just cut a few strips from the other papers for vertical banners and called it done.

For my second card, I was reminded I owned this stamp when one of the other DT gals used it a week or two ago. I love her; she's so frumpy!

Again, just a few strips of paper to cut all the white, and some serious fussy-cutting for the dress. I love that sentiment.

So, got snark? Why not break it out and use it, and come link up at both SOS and SoSS this week!

Thanks for stopping by!

Stuff I used: Riley - Ethel, sentiment (maybe Riley - not sure), Spellbinder's Standard Ovals, Spellbinders Petite Ovals, Saggy lady: Art Impressions, Sag sentiment: River City Rubber Works, and the following:

  6. Sassy ladies don't need much to accompany them, they shine on their own. Your snark is brilliant. I think I need the top sentiment.
