Hedgehog Hello, You Old Bag

This weekend's crafty focus gave me the perfect excuse to use some of my new stamps that haven't seen ink yet. Here's one of the cards I made:

I think he's pretty darn(ed) cute, and his name is Harrison, which makes him even cuter! I colored him with Copics, then went back and added dots so it disguised most of the streaky that happens when I color open areas.

The tiny clouds are from the Paper Smooches Clouds die set, and they are very tiny. Just perfect for this little guy. I drew in some of my usual birds and called it done.

I also had another Unity stamp set I was enabled to need by one of my SOS peeps, and I made two cards with that one. Here's the first one:

I used some printed adhesive cork from DCWV and declared it a perfect match to Hero Arts Tide note cards. I stamped the bag twice on some Hero Arts Kraft note cards and cut them out. Because the bags are the same color as the background, I popped them up on foam tape so you have a chance at seeing them.

The red stars are my attempt at a pop of color.

Here's the other card:

I think the bag shows better on this less-busy background.

I have a couple more cards I think I'll save for later this week. My craft room is still largely in bags, so it may be a few days before I stamp again.

Thanks for stopping by!

Stuff I used: Harrison Hedgehog and Old Bag from Unity Stamps, DCWV Cork Stack 12x12, and the following:

  1. Oh my gosh! I love the You Old Bag statement! I don't know that I'd ever use it though. I have a knack of sending the insulting birthday cards to JUST THE WRONG PERSON. Ugh.
