You Warm My Heart

I played another sketch challenge. This time it was the current Nacho Average Challenge:

I thought this would work well with some more of the pretty Lawn Fawn Snow Day papers I had out, so I made this:

One of the things I'm determined to to this weekend is play with my Copics, and maybe do some homework from the last Online Card Classes Copics for Card Makers. One of my takeaways from that class is to use markers I normally wouldn't use for a particular object, or for shading. In this case, the bunnies were colored with N0 and E0000. I crossed the beams!!!

I was also very proud that I cut the sentiment panel using the partial die-cutting technique we learned in an earlier Online Card Class. The only die I had that fit the sentiment was too long, so I partially cut one side of the panel, then finished it with a partial die-cut in the other direction. The stitches on the die really helped me line it up, and I didn't have a stutter (missed, partial, or overlapping stitches).

Can you tell I like this paper? I won't lie and say you won't see it again this weekend, because you just might. You've been warned.

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. That's adorable. There is SO much to absorb from that Copics class and i am really far behind in my homework. I have the videos, which I will refer to when I need them.

  8. I'm always impressed when people can fiddle around with dies for a partial cut or enlongated cut. It's a miracle and I can cut dies straight up, don't be expecting fancy stuff from me! I like your coloring job and apparently you suffered no ill by crossing beams. That's awesome!
