OCC CAS3 Homework - Day 3

Days 3 & 4 of the Online Card Classes CAS3 - One-Layer Cards covered Optical Illusions. Here's my card:

Not sure I pulled it off, but that's a stamped frame right on the card base! This is a real, honest-to-goodness ONE LAYER card. Whoot! Look closely, because you may never see this again, at least on this blog.

I used the Impression Obsession Rain cover-a-card stamp and stamped it in two colors in two directions to make my frame. The MFT sentiment was stamped in the center of the frame with Hero Arts Cornflower ink. At the last moment I added faux stitching around the frame, but now I'm not so sure that was a good idea. Sigh.

Thanks for stopping by!

Products used: black fine-point Sharpie, and the following:

  1. I thought that was patterned paper until I read the description. Great job on the stamping!

  2. I like the bi-directional stamping. Hmm the stitching...I like it, however, it might have looked more layered with out it, a crisper edge maybe. Oh what do I know I'm in class too!

I'd love to hear what you really think! :-)
