CAS2 Homework - Day 3
It's homework time for Day 3 of the current Clean & Simple 2 Online Card Class. Today we learned several new techniques, including how to make a gradient image with only three colors of ink. Here's my card:
Ink colors were Distress Festive Berries, Ripe Persimmon and Squeezed Lemonade; and the bow die is from Li'l Inkers.
My fellow classmates will notice I've diverged from the class examples of cutting the top piece short and stamping the sentiment at the bottom of the inside of the card. This is largely because I thought I had a base of 4.25x11, when in fact mine was oriented the other way. To compensate for not being able to cut a strip off the bottom of the card front, I instead cut the stamped layer.
Then I destroyed the card base. Then I made a hamburger for dinner and ate it.
Later, to save the stamped layer, I cut it off the original base and applied it to the new base, so this card is kinda hefty. I might save it for a special someone and pay the extra postage myself. Sigh.
In other news, my Google Reader approacheth 800, so I think I'll tackle that this evening.
Thanks for stopping by!
