SOS #83 - White or Cream

Happy Tuesday and Happy New Year! Tuesday means it's time for a new Shopping Our Stash challenge. This week we ask you to make a card that's all white or cream. That's ALL white or ivory/cream/vanilla - no other colors. The only exception is your sentiment (if used) can be in any color, and if an image is used it can contain skin/fur tones and hair tones.

Here's my card, then I'll explain:

In my own defense, I was attempting to channel my pal Natalie, who totally rocks the floof factor. Also, she and I had a self-challenge to use that Memory Box Amira Flourish die on a card, and I've slacked.

Back to the card. When attempting a white-on-white card, I like to employ things like texture and shape to make it interesting. I first embossed the textured card base with my Hero Arts Lattice background stamp and white-embossed it.  Then I cut out two of the Amira Flourish dies from white and two other dies out of cream and layered them. It's kinda busy:

I tied a piece of thin twine around the taffeta ribbon to hold it in place, then glued it down with Glossy Accents. To attach the flower I used some clear dimensional tape plus some more Glossy Accents.

Sentiment. It needed a sentiment. I ended up white-embossing this one from SU:

I was going to go back and add some pearls, then I thought it might be a bit much. But maybe I will anyway, because I can. :)

Now it's YOUR turn. Go into your stash and pull out your white and/or cream stuff, use it to make a card, then come back to Shopping Our Stash to link us up so we can see what you've made!

Thanks for stopping by!
