Am I A Bad Mom?

I bought a ton of food stuff for my boys so I could send them Care Packages (it's what Moms do for kids in college). I did not send them, because I was distracted in the baking aisle at the store and made them brownies instead. I sent them the brownies with some new socks as package filler. How much more 'Mom' could I get?

So now it is the end of the school year (my eldest has finals next week), and I still have these two Flat Rate boxes full of stuff. Just now I told myself I will not send these in time, so I rummaged through one of the boxes, retrieved a box of Breakfast Bars, and consumed one (okay two).

Am I a bad Mom?

Question {Du Jour}

Okay, I know I am out of the loop on many things, but can anyone explain the overly-popular use of braces in blogging? Braces are these things--> {}

I used to use <> in my writing, but since they also denote HTML tags, some sites get wonky when you use them. And SCS uses [ and ] for their post tags. But I see these braces e v e r y w h e r e, and I am not sure what they mean. Do YOU know? Do tell!!! And thanks!

Question Du Jour

No stampin' to post tonight, but I do have a burning question that I hope at least one of you can answer for me...

Do they still make the multi-colored Rice Krispies cereal? You know, the box with pink and blue and red and green puffed rice mixed in with the regular stuff. I used to make Rice Krispie Treats using them, and they were AWESOME looking! All I can find now are either the regular or cocoa varieties, so the best I can come up with will be "black & white" treats, no color. What a bummer.

I found a reference online to Berry Krispies, but nothing about the colored ones. I would not mind the berry ones, but I have not seen them in my travels.

ETA: I found this http://www.dltk-kids.com/recipes/ricekrispie.html, but it's not what I was looking for. Still hunting ...

Anyone have a clue? Thanks!

PS: Why in the heck am I making these, you ask? The photographer at my markets is always munching on a commercially-made Rice Krispies treat. Yuk! So I told him I'd make him some real ones. :-)
