It's time for another Hambo Hoedown challenge! This week we got the following image to use:
As soon as I saw this in my Inbox (people who played last week get the image for free), I did a little couch-dance (that's where you wiggle your butt while you are sitting on the couch - it totally counts as exercise in my world.) This is the perfect image for me! Today I did a quick perusal of the other requirements for the challenge, because as most of you know by now, I make my card and then I go back to see what I was supposed to do.
The rest of the instructions included a color combo: red, teal and either white, ivory or kraft.
I got home. I printed this image in two different sizes. I grabbed a piece of old-looking purple-ish paper, cut it to size, die-cut the remainders for mats for the images and ... I stopped. I actually stopped before assembly. See? I'm getting better! Baby steps, people, baby steps.
I used some papers that were in the collection near my feet and made this:
OMG, I love this image! Loooooooooooooooooove! *ahem* The red & white papers are from the SU Celebrations pack of DSP. The card stock layer is Taken With Teal, and the ribbon is Bermuda Bay, and I declared it close enough to the Teal to work.
Now if you'll exsqueeze me, I have some more of these to assemble. And I also need to make a Father's Day card and get it in the mail so I don't lose any Good Daughter points. Can't have that! :)
Thanks for stopping by!
I love reading your posts so much! Just makes me giggle. :)
