And my interpretation:I wound the baker's twine around each cut-out spool, then stuck a short piece to the base (*ahem*) before I stuck down the spool. The ends of the wound-around pieces of baker's twine are held down with some Martha Stewart gel glue (I do intend to marry that stuff, omg.)
I really don't want to talk about what happened, so let's just say I ended up with a smaller piece of the card front, which I then layered onto Tempting Turquoise, which I also used to make that handsome button. Since I'd measured incorrectly, I ended up with gaping sides on the card front which I ever-so-cleverly filled in with Kraft pieces punched out with my SU Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch.
So, does it look like I meant to do that? Good. Then my work here is done.
Off to play some more before I nod off. Thanks for stopping by!

Totally looks like you meant to do that...all great art happens by accident :)
You are so freakin' clever! Love it!
I love it. It's literal and very witty. And has the lovely turquoise pop!

I love the loose ends of twine! Lovely. ;)
It does indeed look like you meant to do that! I think it's pretty adorable!
Hey Leslie! Thanks for linking this up to this week's Tuesday Trigger in the Moxie Fab World! I'm so glad you joined in on all the fun! :)
Embellishment opportunity. That's all. Heck, nearly every card I make has something on it that's only there to cover up something I muffed. Also, you used the word thrice. Twice. Awesome. Now I'm stalking you :) {um, I mean following. Yeah, following!}
