I declared today a "catch up on some challenges" day, and I was just about to head into The Captain's Quarters when I spied the latest OWH sketch:
and I dropped everything else and made eight cards. I did. I have to tell you: this is the easiest way to disappear paper I've found. Here's one of my cards:
I cut some of my still-out Basic Grey Ambrosia paper into 1.5" strips, created sets of three, notched the ends, and eight fronts were mostly done. I use my MFT Framed Greetings set with sentiments and die, cut and stamped eight sentiments, added dimensional adhesive - eight cards done. This was crazy-easy.
Here's one of the other ones I made:
Okay, NOW I'm going back in for some other challenges. :)
Thanks for stopping by!
You really do constantly amaze me with your productivity. And you don't just make lots of cards, they are good-looking as well!
ReplyDeleteYour mix of patterned paper is beautiful! These cards will brighten anyone's day!
ReplyDeleteI love that you made a set of cards with this sketch! It's so fun to make multiples with a paper collection because you can make them each a little different so you're not bored and they all turn out great! Thanks for playing along with this week's sketch!
ReplyDeleteGreat set of cards! Love those sentiments! tfs!!!
ReplyDeleteAh, another I-have-that-stamp-and-die moment here! Why is it that everyone else makes such pretty stuff from BG papers and the best I can come up with is a mismatched mess?
ReplyDeleteI love your selection of patterned paper. Very nicely done.
ReplyDeleteIsn't this a fun way to use up scraps. :) great sketch card! I love what you made!

ReplyDeleteEight cards. Boy you have a lot of energy. These two showcased here are very, very nice. Great papers and colors.
ReplyDeleteOnly eight cards? You couldn't just do two more and make it an even ten? (Just kidding!) Truly, that's amazing. The ones you shared here are lovely. My eyes always initially glaze over when I see sketches calling for many different papers, but you sure made it work!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! I love how your mix of papers goes so well together. I'd say your day was very productive indeed.
