You Make My Heart Melt

I played another challenge from my list of challenges to do some day, and I made this:

These circles are very similar to a card I did for last month's ABNH sketch challenge, but I thought the shimmery circles were too perfect not to use them again. :)  See: shimmery:

The color rut I'm in had me coloring some card stock with Hero Arts daubers in Pool, Pale Tomato and Butter Bar, then I punched out some circles. I also punched out more circles from white so I could stack them for some heft. My last act was to cover the circles with Wink Of Stella. That stuff is addicting.

The sketch and theme came from the current Fusion challenge:

I used a very literal interpretation of the sketch, and the image led me to the heart washi tape I used under the circles.

I hope to get to a lot more challenges this weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

Products used: misc washi tape, circle punches (1", 3/4" and 1/2"), and the following:

  1. I like the color rut you are in, those colors are so pretty together. I really need to use my Wink of Stella glitter pen more often, I forget I even have it until I see it used on a card.

  2. I like your literal interpretation of the sketch and your color choices. Wow! I'm impressed that you could photography the shimmer on the circles. I'm hearing a lot about that Wink of Stella. I just may have to investigate. Have and a fun and challenging weekend... oh you know how I mean that!

  3. I love that sentiment Leslie. Cute circles.

  4. I love those glittery are right! Too pretty to not use the colors, especially the orange color. I especially like the sentiment in the soft gray color. Great card!

  5. Great take on the sketch and I love the glitter. Thanks for playing along with us in the Fusion card challenge and hope to see you again.

  6. Love the color combo and the glittery circles. Thanks for playing with us at fusion!

  7. Love your sparkly circles! So glad you joined in the fun @ FUSION - hope to see you again soon :)

I'd love to hear what you really think! :-)
