A CASE and a Thank You

My bloggy and tweepy pal, Lisa (Papergrace Designs), made quite the squee-worthy card today, and I told her I needed to CASE it. Ever true to my word, I did. Well, I started to CASE it, but, as with all things in my world, it went off in another direction. But the inspiration was there, and that totally counts.

Here is my card:

(Man, I really need better lighting. Tomorrow. I'll get it after work tomorrow.) I tried to fit both layered doilies (from MFT) on there, but I decided I liked the embossed layer showing. The white paper is all SU Shimmer White, and it really does shimmer in real life. The gold is SU Brushed Gold. I embossed the circle from SU's Together Forever set in gold. All the circles were cut with Nestabilities. The numbers were cut with my Olivia Cuttlebug die. (deep breath) The ribbon is from my stash, and the gold dots are Stickles.

I think this will make a handsome 50th wedding anniversary card, don't you?

I may CASE Lisa's card again and make a birthday card. There's one cooking in my brain right now that may need to be made this evening.

In other news, I sold something on etsy (I KNOW!) and made this Thank You card to enclose in the package:

It's a piece of miscellaneous light purple (gah!) textured card stock that I cut into 4ths and folded in half (got that?) so this card is 3x6. The paper is BG wisteria that is also (gah!) mostly purple, and I have TWO packs of the stuff. This is my attempt to start using it. Oh, and the sentiment is from Paper Smooches. I just love it.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to make another card. Thanks for stopping by!
