SOS #137: Love Me Tender

It's Tuesday, and time for a new challenge over at Shopping Our Stash. This week's theme is Love Me Tender, and we'd like you to make a card or project with the theme of love or Valentine's Day.

I'm kinda proud that my card was created almost completely from the scraps on my desk. Here it is, then I'll explain:

I'd been working with these pretty papers from the Elle's Studio "Love You More" collection, and had some still out on my desk. I hadn't yet used the stripey piece (the flip side of one I did use), and I was hoping I could get it to work with the strip of hearts. I think the dark gray paper creates enough of a definition that it does actually work. :)

The Paper Smooches Love Word was die-cut three times from a scrap of SU Poppy Parade, also on my desk (but not any more!), and I glued them together for some heft. I stuck it all to a Pool note card.

I think you should play along with our challenge. 'Tis the season! :D

Thanks for stopping by!

Products used: Elle's Studio "Love You More" collection, SU Poppy Parade and Basic Gray card stock, misc mounting tape, and the following:
