SOS #105 Oldest Stamp

Happy Tuesday! It's time for a new challenge over at Shopping Our Stash. This week we ask you to use your oldest stamp. That's right - oldest stamp. Make sure to tell us just how old it is!

This was a tough challenge for me, not because I don't have old stamps, but trying to remember which was older was making my head hurt. I've gotten rid of most of my OLD old stamps, so I was dealing with the oldest of what I've kept in my stash. I started out with an Emerson stamp, but ended up using that here for another challenge a few weeks ago.

While digging, I discovered a "why do I still have this stuff" pile and in there was this cutie Magenta dog that was dubbed "the oldest". Here he is:

I stamped him on a remnant of textured cream card stock, so of course I had to go over it with a black pen. Sigh. The papers are from my Basic Grey Max & Whiskers 6x6 pad, the twine was in my twine UFO box, and the tag was cut from another remnant of the textured card stock. Did you notice the cool dog bone eyelet? Yep, it's as old as the hills, and I set that baby with my Crop-a-dile and tied the twine through it.

Now it's YOUR turn. Go ahead and rummage in the bowels of your stamp drawers until you find your oldest stamp, use it, then come back to Shopping Our Stash and link us up so we can see what you've made!

Thanks for stopping by!

Products used but not linked below: Magenta dog stamp, eyelet outlet bone eyelet, twine, Dymo labeler, Basic Grey Max & Whiskers 6x6 pad, SU Very Vanilla, Shapeabilities Home Sweet Home dies (for the tag).
