Now, about that ribbon... Red is a very traditional color to use with B&W, but you know I'm not even close to traditional, so I avoid red on purpose. I originally wanted to use turquoise, but I think this Marina Mist satin is just fine! I will say I futzed with that bow for a while. It looks okay, but it's not anchored real well, and the loops would come undone if given the chance. So that piece of skinny black taffeta? It's another anchor across the top of the blue loop - just for a little insurance. I cut two slits and pushed the black through to the back and pulled it really tight. So no, I haven't invented anything new - I'm just trying to keep the bow from undoing itself when I'm not looking. *glances over shoulder to glare at the card*
