Suck It Up, Cupcake!

I love when I find new irreverence. Check out this card I made using a new set from Taylored Expressions:

I looove the expression on the critter's face, and that saying rocks! I didn't have to do much but stamp and die-cut the critter (yes, coordinating dies!), color him, and put him on a strip of patterned paper.

I followed this now-expired Clean and Simple challenge sketch:

I made the card in time, I just didn't link it up in time. The card might have been buried in my stack of un-done challenges that I just purged from my desk so I could function.

Go ahead, click on that link below (Ellen Hutson carries these in addition to getting them directly from Taylored Expressions). You know you want to. :)

You will see this set again very soon. I think I need some irreverence to spark my waning mojo.

Thanks for stopping by!

Stuff I used: Basic Grey Hey Girl 6x6 paper pack, miscellaneous black card stock, and the following:

  1. I love when you pull out a bit of irreverence! That bunny’s face says it all.

  2. Adorably grumpy. I bought this set, too, and I can't wait to use it. I need to get a birthday card stash going again.

  3. I had to have that set (and matching dies) myself because you just can't go wrong with that precious look. "Suck it up, Buttercup" is a frequently said phrase in our household. So is "Life's tough, get a helmet."
