A Crafty Weekend

I spent the weekend with some crafty friends, and we ate and stamped and ate and stamped some more. I printed out some challenges to inspire me, so over the next few days I'll share some of them.

The fun part of crafting at a friend's house is you get to use their stuff! My pal had a 12x12 pack of cork "paper", so I used it on a few cards.  This one is for two challenges. I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches:



and the colors are for Keep It Simple:



This is what came out:


Okay, it's more pool than turquoise, but it was certainly in the spirit of the color challenge. I was kinda happy that the color on the cork matched the Hero Arts Tide card. The cork sheet is also self-adhesive, to that was a bonus. :)

I have 15 minutes to link up this baby, so I'll save the blah blah blah for my other creations from the weekend. :)
