Now that my buttons are organized and I can start stressing over something else, I thought I'd stamp, so I made this:
I based it on this week's Deconstructed Sketch:
I took liberties with the sketch, because I needed to bend it to my will. I wanted to use that irreverent sentiment, and it was perfect for the oval, but that's not where the sketch had the sentiment. Sigh. I placed an embellishment in that spot instead. So there.
Papers are Cosmo Cricket Clementine, sentiment by Art Impressions, die by MFT, ribbon by SU, button by who knows, but I retrieved it from my not-quite-orange-but-not-quite-pink-either jar of buttons. :D
I'm going back in for more! Thanks for stopping by!
I think it is a great interpretation of the sketch!
ReplyDeleteWhy would they put the sentiment at the bottom anyway? What goes in the oval? I'm confused. I think your way looks much better.
ReplyDeletei'm with jackie... to me the oval IS the perfect place for a sentiment... and i mean... it's a "SKETCH" so what you've called a liberty is what i'd call bein' creative which is sorta the point! (btw... BEST SENTIMENT EVER... i think i need that as a lovely badge i can pin to my blouse!!!) :) :) :)
