OCC: Watercolor for Card Makers, Day 5 & 6 Homework, Part Second

This is the second card I made for the Online Card Classes: Watercolor for Card Makers class, Days 5 & 6, which focused on coloring with watercolors:

This image embossed in white was interesting, and presented different challenges than my normal group of challenges. The eyes were particularly troublesome, as they would have been fine with a black outline, but with the white, they just kindof stared at me. I ended up playing with adding and removing grey, then adding some more. After it dried I added some black Enamel Accents.

I hacked the sentiment - cut out the word "tail", and yes, it was quite bold of me to do so.

I still think it needs something else, but I stepped away. Still thinking.

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. That's adorable. I see what you mean about the eyes, but they look fine now. I don't think it needs anything else.
