A Bit Of Kindness

I'm in challenge mode today, so I took advantage of the mojo and made several cards.

Here's one:

Compared to that last card I posted, this card is pretty CAS, almost nekkid, even.  I followed the sketch from Can You CASE It:

and used the colors from the MFT color challenge:

And in case you can't see the red in my card, check out the flowers:

The MFT dies are solid, so I cut them first, then attempt to line up the stamped image. Because I know me pretty well, I cut multiples, usually three, to give myself practice opportunities. I needed all three this time, but not wanting to waste anything, I stacked up the mis-stamped ones under the colored one for some heft.

The sentiment is a sneak peek from a Hero Arts set that will be available November 1st. It was stamped here with Memento Luxe black and clear-embossed.

I think I like CAS more than a loaded-up card. Less fuss.

Thanks for stopping by!

Update: My card won a shout-out at Can You Case It!

Update 2: My card won the random draw for the MFT color challenge, and I have a gift certificate! Whoot! Thank You Mr Random Number Generator!

Some of the stuff I used:  Hero Arts Acts of Kindness (avail Nov 1st), Copics (0, N7, N4, C1, C3, C5, R39, G43, G24, YG63, B93, B97, B39), and the following:

  5. Brilliant idea for the off-stamped die cuts! Because yes, I usually have a few also-rans. So cute, coloured and CAS!!!

  6. Ah.... solid dies make me nutso. They add so much work to things that half the time I could have fussy cut quicker. This card makes me happy. Love me those mousies!
